New feature in Helm: Updating Your Contact Details

NHS login, NHS App and Helm have been working together to allow you to check your phone number and email address that your health and care providers use. The ability to check your contact information using your electronic device reduces the need to ring your GP to update your details.

Please try to take the opportunity to review your information – it is particularly important at the current time that the health and care services have your correct contact details and the invite to check your contact information will not appear again for a number of months.

How does it work?

If you have logged into Helm at least three times, you will be asked to review your contact information the next time you log in. A message will appear once you have entered your login details asking to review your information.

If you confirm that your contact information is correct, no changes will be made to this information.

If you update the contact information, these changes will be visible in your health and care record after being checked by your GP.

If you choose to skip this step, you will be able to log into Helm but you will not get the chance to update your contact information electronically for a number of months.

If you do not see this message, this means that the NHS systems have the most up to date information for you. If you believe that this is not the case, please let us know here.
